Pursuant to Canon 6C.(2) of the Alabama Canons of Judicial Ethics, as amended effective January 1, 2025, a judge, at the time he or she takes the oath of office, and on or before April 30 each year thereafter, shall file a Disclosure Statement of Financial Interests with the Clerk of the Supreme Court of Alabama. This Disclosure Statement of Financial Interests, which shall be kept confidential by the Clerk of the Supreme Court, must contain a list of all proprietorships, companies, corporations, and/or partnerships in which the judge owns a financial interest. Additionally, the Disclosure Statement of Financial Interests must contain a list of all creditors to whom the judge owes money.
